Purpose first.
Then production.

Editing turns recorded material into a deliberate sequence. Organisation and selection come before polish, allowing structure and pacing to serve the communication objective.

Organise and select

Footage and supplied assets are reviewed and arranged so that relevant material can be found, compared and shaped into a coherent first structure.

Refine picture and sound

Pacing, colour correction, audio adjustments, approved graphics, titles and captions are developed within the agreed post-production scope.

Prepare final exports

Aspect ratios, resolutions, caption requirements and file formats are agreed for intended uses. Source footage transfer is handled through an agreed secure method.
